2) Research different music venues within north London

Islington; Scala, O2 academy Islington, The lexington
Shepard's bush; 02 Empire
Wembley; Wembley arena


3) Look at the up and coming artists and research their genre of music 

Camden
The underworld; Rage (German heavy metal) , firewood (indie/ alternative), septic flesh (Greek death metal)
KoKo; Motionless in white (American metal core) , Hollywood undead(American rap rock)

Sum up all this information together to start understanding your target audience 
From this research i have gathered that the most popular genres of music in north London are Alternative/indie and rock. These genres range nationally with a lot of American artists in particular, representing North Londons budding music scene, Telling us a lot about our target audience and how less mainstream artists/ genres appeal to them.
